Sunset and the hour directly following (commonly known as ‘blue hour’) are some of the best times to be out with your camera. Its when colours are intense and city lights start to sparkle. Unfortunately a lot people find shooting at this time of day a challenge when their camera starts giving them very blurry and grainy results.
If you want to be able to capture a photograph with the same beauty and detail as the scene in front of your camera, then this workshop is definitely for you.
In this workshop I will teach you how to -
Capture steady, blur free shots
Achieve a balanced exposure
Capture clean, noise free images
Capture water with that silky smooth effect
This session caters for photographers of all skill levels.
Expensive cameras are not required. Any entry level DSLR or compact camera will be fine. You will need a tripod.
There are 6 places available.
I like to keep my workshop groups small so that I can give all participants as much help as possible.
Location: We will be shooting on the banks of the Fitzroy River, looking back across towards the beautiful apartment buildings on the Southside of town. The location is totally safe (you don’t have to worry about crocodiles) and I have run workshops here many times before. We will be meeting in the carpark of the Northside Bowls club on Glenmore Road.
